We are very proud to have won the 2014 National HIA Greensmart Award for the sustainable design and sustainable building of our West Ryde renovation in Sydney. Among the Judges comments were that: “This light filled home is responsive to seasonal climate changes. Constructing two gable roofs running north-south with windows in each end provides natural light and passive solar heat gain in winter,” Thanks to our wonderful clients, Louise and John, for putting their trust and faith in us.

We are very proud to have won the 2012 National HIA Greensmart Award for the sustainable design and sustainable building of our Clovelly renovation in Sydney. Among the Judges comments were that we had: “transformed a dark and cold living area into a more livable, light and inspiring space”. “Opening the space to the North provides ample natural light and passive solar gain. North facing clerestory windows bring natural light deep into the house and assist in maximising cross ventilation”. “Hydronic heating, CFL  fittings, ceiling fans, rainwater tanks and low and zero VOC products all contribute to a comfortable living environment created by this renovation”.
